Stanstead airport to Sidcup (return in one day) with a wheelchair.... How?
I need to get from Stanstead airport to Sidcup (Kent) on oct 27th and for a open day at a university. I'm stuck on how to do it because the tube is not possible with the wheelchair ( not the route i need anyway) and i'm under 23 so cant hire a car and my family are away so cant help. Does anyone have any other ideas on how i could do it?
I'm going to look at Rose Bruford College
You can get a national express coach from stansted to stratford in East London for £6, you may need to make special arrangements with them first but stratford is a wheelchair accessible station, Get the Docklands right railway to Lewisham, once you get off there will be 2 exits 1 with stairs and the other a long ramp to a large roundabout, turn 180 degrees and go to the train station, once you go in turn left and the platform there runs trains to sidcup every 15 mins or so, i'm not sure if Sidcups wheelchair accessible as i've only gone as far as Mottingham but i'm sure if you google it you can find south-east trains' number and give them a call
