Seat Pressure Cushion
why does my leg suddenly and spontaniously "fall asleep?"?

This is not the common occurence of pins and needles from cutting off one's circulation for too long. It seems that on frequent occassions of doing my school work at my desk chair, my right leg will spontaniously get pins and needles. This is not a gradual build up that happens over time as one sits on one's own leg; I will be sitting there normally without any pressure applied to the leg (other than my leg and butt being seated on the cushioned chair) and then completely at random *BAM* my leg gets pins and needles.
If i stand up and shake it off it does go away after a little while.

This only happens when using my desk chair. I dont know why because I have been using this chair for years and this has only started happening a few weeks ago. My chair is level, yet it only occurs with my right leg. never the left.

What is wrong with me? What can cause sudden loss of circulation despite their being no unusual amount of pressure being applied?

You've probably just outgrown the chair. Even if the chair is level, if your knees are higher than your hips, your circulation will suffer. Try either getting a taller chair, or shifting positions every few minutes.

Thanks for looking at our Seat Pressure Cushion information.
