ideas for a product (chair and desk)?
i need ideas for a task i have in school, its to design a chair and desk unit that has to be portable, lightweight and as compact as possible (eg foldable or something). its for a disaster area like haiti for school children to use. any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated as i can't think of anything at all :
It seems rather simple to picture a small picnic table made out of plastic that can fold down. It's just a seat of lightweight plastic and a desktop of the same stuff that is connected with tubular steel. It folds up and can fold out and be locked into position — with a contoured seat for comfort.
