is this rig good for the price?
It WILL run Crysis on high. I have a system with 4gb of ram, 2.66 ghz dual core, and that same graphics card, just the "+" model, and it runs Crysis on high with high frame rates. For the price its a really good system. That graphics card actually has higher core clock than the GTX260 but less cores of course. And its still an amazing card. Too bad you don't have an extra PCIe slot on the mobo to go SLI with another one. So you are a little limited on expandability.
Sure they probably wont give you top quality ram but its still 8 GB of ram. The only thing thats lacking is the power supply. 460W is a little on the low side considering the EVGA model of that card (the one i have) requires AT LEAST a 450W psu.
All in all its a great price, even though I assume all the components are from no-name cheap companies. You probably would get a better price if you built it yourself, but then again you would have to get the same no-name brands. If you do build it with name brands with the same specs it would cost way more than that anyway. Still worth buying if you're not a big enthusiast that wants all the bells and whistles.
The blueray drive is also a plus, especially if you get a nice samsung LCD.
