Can you use a Battery charger to thaw copper water line?
I have a pretty good sized battery charger-12-24 amps (maybe bigger but not looking at it right now).
I have a section of copper pipe under the floor in the crawl space that hase been froze for a couple of days.
I was wondering if I could attach the positive and negative around the frozen section and turn on the charger.
What would be the effects on the sweated fittings (if there are some) What would be the setting to put the charger on? There are setting such as boost, trickle, it has timer.
Would that thaw out the line? The section that is froze could be as long as 3 feet.

No. You will create a short and possibly blow up the battery.
You need to put a heater coil around that copper pipe first. Try a heating blanket. It might work better.
