does anyone have any tips about punctures?
my dad has a mobilty scooter he loves it he is all over the place on it but he keeps on getting puntures but i am just sick of repairing puntures now i have looked at buying solid tyres for him but they are really exepencive i was seeing if anyone had any tips to help me
If you can get solid tyres in the right tyre size they will give a very hard ride -
if your Dad is disabled it might not do him any good.
You don't say if the tyres are tubeless or tube type?
If tube type make sure you remove any thorns from the casing before replacing the tube.or they will puncture it second time.
If tubeless you can try a tyre foam type sealant, but it does not always work with low pressure tyres that run at slow speed.
