how do I tell my friend to give me some time alone!?
1 of my friends lived very close to me, And she comes over EVERY SINGLE DAY. And we always do the SAME thing: ride my scooter. I got the scooter because I have good grades. But she is driving it more than I am. She always wants to ride it, even when it is not fully charged! And I never get a chance to ride it alone, because she is always there, and I have to sit at the back! And she is destroying it! She rides it over bumps all the time! When I tell her to be careful, she just says "don't worry, I'm fine!" And today, She rode it over a ramp, and I fell off and scrpaed my knee!! SHE was fine, though. I have a hard time saying no and she is always taking advantage of me! What should I do?
Start telling her you are busy and start distancing yourself from her. When she asks to come over say you are busy doing something else or you have other plans.
