Fairfax Mercedes R-Class customers will enjoy new CL-Class engines
More power is what it's all about, right? I always want to grunt like Tim "the Tool Man" Taylor when I think about something with ramped-up power. But that's what guys appreciate and your Virginia Mercedes dealer wants to be sure that you feel the power of the 2011 Mercedes CL-Class.
Mercedes-Benz is launching two new direct-injection biturbo V 8 engines in the 2011 Cl550 4MATIC. The 4.6-liter V8 has 20 percent less displacement but packs 429 horsepower - 12 percent more than the previous engine. The fuel economy has been improved as well - by about 10 percent!
The retails price of the CL550 4MATIC will be a bit steep for some budgets, but for those willing to pay for a beautiful, powerful ride, the $114,025 price will be well worth it. Fairfax Mercedes R-Class customers will want to check out this amazing new engine.
Then there is the new engine to be found in the 2011 CL63 AMG coupe at just over $151,000 and the S63 AMG sedan which retails for about $135,000. The 5.50liter AMG V8 uses stop-start technology and twin turbochargers with direct injection. Along with the seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission that equals 536 horsepower. Well worth the money for those who can afford it.
Customers of your Virginia Mercedes dealer will appreciate the AMG Performance Package with an increased horsepower of 563 and a top speed of 186 mph. Where you achieve that top speed will be your business.
The CL-Class has more than just bigger and better engines. A redesign for the grill, hood and fenders and the addition of bi-xenon headlights and LED turn signals give it an even more unique and stylized look. Around back, bumper-integrated exhaust pipes and LED taillights are looking sharp.
Mercedes-Benz has long been a leader in vehicle safety, so non of us should be surprised by the plethora of safety features to be found on the CL-Class models. Some of the more innovative aspects include Active Lane Keeping Assist, which uses a camera and computer to alert the driver to any straying out of the designated lane, and Active Blind Spot Assist to help driver see where their eyes can't. Both of these systems work with brake intervention.
