question about rent a center stores?
My mom is having a shoulder replacement in a couple months and would love one of those automatic lift recliners until she has regained enough strength to lift herself out of a normal chair.
She only needs it for about a month of recovery (if that) and she definitely does not want to pay $600+ to buy one. The only big rental place I know of is rent a center, and they do have a really nice looking lift recliner in their inventory, but I have read many really negative reviews from angry customers who say their personnel are rude and they do not have quality customer service.
I only want the thing for a few weeks, I am not renting to own, just a one time deal while my mom recovers and I don't plan on revisiting often.
Do you think RAC would be ok for a short term rental like this? I was just just a little hesitant because there were so many bad reviews on a google search of them.
What are people's experiences/thoughts/preconceptions about rent a center? Please share..thanks!
Rent A Center will do a short term rental for you no problem, as long as they have in-stock what you are looking for.
You will have to pay up front for the length of time you need it for. then just call and schedule an appointment before your due date or go inside the store and purchase more time. Rent a Center is a great option for short term rentals.
Most people who have negative experiences with RAC rent-to-own, which can get expensive.
