which patiet will make a full recovery in this scenario and why?
Three patients in an intensive care ward are examined by the resident doctor One patient has brain damage from a stroke, another had a heart attack that severely damaged his heart muscle, and the third has a severely damaged liver from a crushing injury in a car accident. All three patients have stabilized and will survive, but only one will have full functional recovery through regeneration. In 100 - 200 words, explain which patient that will be and why. Why won't the other two patients have a full functional recovery ?
The one with brain damage will not make a full recovery - brain cells cannot regenerate.
The one with a damaged heart will not make a full recovery - even if he/she gets a heart transplant, the surrounding muscles will still be weakened.
The one with a damaged liver will make a full recovery - the liver has an amazing ability to regrow, I recommend you find out about liver transplants from a live donor. Plus, if all else fails, the patient can have a liver transplant.
And yes, do your own homework!
